A members only Indoor Pistol/Rifle range where the primary goal is to provide a Safe, Responsible, Shooting Sports Environment for CIRGC members and their family.
The Membership Application is on the website. Please print it off, complete it and send to the address on the form. You may also go to the Pawn Shop or Tri-State Lock, both in Marshalltown to complete an application. If you can't go to either of these places, or can't print it from the website, please contact the CIRGC providing us several date/time options to meet at the range that work for you. We will be happy to set up a time to meet with you.
The CIRGC range is located in Marshalltown, Iowa under the North end of the Center Street viaduct. There is a black door in a concrete wall with a CIRGC logo on it. See CIRGC Range pictures. We have a 50 foot range with 12 lanes for shooters each equipped with a bullet trap. There has been several improvements to the facility, including a security system, a target retrieving system, ventilation fans, a heating upgrade and central air conditioning.
Note: only paper targets are allowed. The CIRGC rules and caliber list are located on the site in a printable format.
See the CIRGC Events page for information concerning upcoming CIRGC Meetings, Matches and General Range Availability. The main purpose of the Events page is to keep members informed of what is happening with the club and at the range. For example: If you check the page regularly you would know the facility is busy at certain dates and times. This prevents you from heading to the range to work on your shooting skills and when you get there finding out the range was previously scheduled.
